GroupSource issues a oneCard for each participating employee. The oneCard provides key information used to submit claims:
- The Employee Certificate Number.
- The Group Policy Number.
- Confirms group participation in Pay Direct Drugs and/or Electronic Dental Interchange systems (if applicable).
- The reverse side includes contact information and a password for accessing the Booklet through the GroupSource website: www.groupsource.ca.
The oneCard is available on the member portal when the member becomes eligible for benefits (the member’s effective date). The member has access to their oneCard using the mobile app, or by logging into the member portal online. If the member has trouble accessing their oneCard ask them to contact our claims department.
- myGroupSource: members that use myGroupSource will receive a welcome email when their enrollment is approved in WEBS™. At the bottom of the email we ask the member if they want a printed paper card mailed to them, and we ask them to confirm their mailing address. If this address given doesn’t match the employee home address in WEBS™, your Billing Administrator will reach to confirm that the employee’s home address is correct on WEBS™.
- eProfile: Plan Administrators for groups that use eProfile will receive an email confirming that the enrollment has been completed and asks the Plan Administrator to log into WEBS™, download the oneCard, and forward it to the member by email or by printing it. This way the Plan Administrator can review the enrollment after it has been completed to ensure the employee’s information is correct before the billing statement is released.
Employees with the Emergency Travel Assistance benefit will need a separate wallet card, called the Assistance Program Membership Card. This is available in the SSQ section of the Forms and Insurer information on WEBS™ and you can order a supply from our office to distribute to your members. Contact your Billing Administrator to request a supply of Travel Cards.
- To minimize problems with claim adjudication, please double-check employee names and certificate numbers before sending the oneCard to the member.
- Advise employees to discard any previously issued oneCards whenever you distribute a new oneCard.
- Use WEBS™ to view and print employee oneCards and Emergency Travel cards, as needed. Or, contact your GroupSource Billing Administrator to send replacements.
- Advise employees to keep the Emergency Travel Assistance Program Membership Card with them whenever they travel out-of-Province.
